2004 Afrodisiac Atlantic Records Director: Matthew Rolston Did you think Brandy was a good-girl? I know, she's played that role for a long time. Well, just for you, she decided to make a very provocative, sexually-charged music video; well, what did you expect with a title like “Afrodisiac”? Yet, somehow, she managed to keep it genuinely creative at the same time. From the rest of this site, you've no doubt seen what a radiantly beautiful face Brandy has. Well, check this video and you'll soon know that's plus a body to die for!

2004 Wake Up Everybody (feat. Various Artists) Bungalo Records Director: Unknown Brandy joins Reverend Run, Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, Missy Elliott, Eve, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Monica, Ashanti, Musiq, Nate Dogg, and others in this moving song and video, aimed at rousing the youth of the USA to vote in the November 2004 presidential election. Everyone's performance was stellar, and the lyrics were on point. As the video plays, some rather shocking facts about the state of the USA scroll across the screen. We all know the outcome of that election, but I'll give it to these stars that it was a noble effort.

2004 Who Is She 2 U? Altalantic Records Director: Jake Nava In this sexy, gritty video, Brandy narrates the tale of a playa, shamelessly bestowing his attentions upon several different unwitting women. Brandy rides the bus and walks the city streets, unapprovingly watching the no-good S.O.B. The theme is quite serious, and the tone of the video is quite suiting, and a lot different than other Brandy videos.

2004 Talk About Our Love Atlantic Records Director: Dave Meyers In this clever and sensual video, Brandy and Kanye West depict how trust, mistrust, and gossip affect grown-up relationships. The concept is original, the song itself is on point, and both artists deliver a solid performance. Brandy isn't afraid to show off her very alluring physical charms, but she does so with true style.

2002 Full Moon Atlantic Records Director: Chris Robinson Brandy spies a potential love interest from afar (enough so for a telescope) in this pretty video for a pretty song. The concept is really cute, and as always, Brandy is utterly beautiful. By the way, if you look at photos from the video shoot, you'll notice one little thing: all is the same, except Brandy was actually quite pregnant. After some digital editing, you can't tell, though. (In places, I think they went a wee bit too far, though.)

2002 What About Us? Atlantic Records Director: David Meyers In this unique, surrealistic video, Brandy stoutly declares her independence from a good-for-nothing man, rising to the occasion to literally bat away his trinkets.

|
2001 Another Day in Paradise (feat. Ray-J) Atlantic Records Directors: Nick Quested & Gil Green Brandy and her brother Ray-J sing about social inequity in this excellent cover of a Phil Collins song. Brandy and Ray-J both deliver a very compelling vocal performance. The video very effectively complements the song's message.

1999 U Don't Know Me Atlantic Records Director: Martin Weisz Brandy struts through the matrix in a very sexy outfit, and with dance moves to match. She's a fistful of attitude for the man who'se now acting disconnected from her. The video is quite clever, and rather reminiscent of the cult virtual reality saga which started the same year.

1999 Almost Doesn't Count Atlantic Records Director: Kevin Bray This video has a somewhat unusual setting for an R&B video: a small country town. It works well, though, creating a subtle atmosphere of both abandonement and hope. Again, Brandy makes a very powerful delivery.

1999 Have You Ever? Atlantic Records Director: Paul Hunter This is a touching video for one of Brandy's most beautiful songs. Brandy very, very convincingly portrays the quiet torment of being in love with someone who hasn't yet returned those feelings. This song and video both really pull at my heart strings.

1998 Top of the World (feat. Ma$e) Atlantic Records Director: Paul Hunter Brandy accomplishes supernatural feats of floating around above an urban center in this satirical look at people's impression of stardom. I was happy to see that (somewhat ironically, given the video's concept), the lighting on Brandy was a lot more naturally-balanced, less blasted than is quite typical of commercial shots and music videos. This video, in which Ma$e also appears, wasn't aired on TV in North America (if I recall correctly).

1998 The Boy is Mine (feat. Monica) Atlantic Records Director: Joseph Kahn A very cute portrayal of a Jerry Springer escapade in which these two divas of soul battle it out over a two-timing guy. The concept and execution of this video were right on point to make it at once pointed and quite humorous.

1996 Sittin' Up in My Room Atlantic Records Director: Hype Williams In this bangin' video, Brandy is swimming in thoughts of a guy, keeping herself penned up in a very trippy retro, cartoonish room. Anyone who'se found themselves lost in love will relate. (Well, okay, decor aside.)

1996 Brokenhearted (feat. Wanya Morris) Atlantic Records Director: Hype Williams This video might just leave you brokenhearted! Brandy is looking absolutely lovely in a flowing gown that shows off a figure to die for. And such a pretty face, too; I'm tellin' you, watch out, lol. This is the duet version, with Wanya Morris. The set design and lighting is particularly creative, suggesting the empty house drown in a river of tears.

1995 Best Friend Atlantic Records Director: Matthew Rolston This video really gives you the feeling that everyone had a lot of fun doing it. Brandy declares her undying friendship with her brother Ray-J, who appears in the video alongside her. The dance moves and dramatic lighting, microbraids flying and all, were all very effective.

1995 Baby Atlantic Records Director: Hype Williams This very lively and energetic video sees Brandy and company showing off dance moves at New York's Times Square.

1995 I Wanna Be Down (Remix) (feat. Various Artists) Atlantic Records Director: Hype Williams A funky beat and the hip-hop talents of Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and YoYo set off a dope remix of “I Wanna Be Down,” complete with it's own video.

1994 I Wanna Be Down Atlantic Records Director: Keith Ward This is the video that introduced the world musically to a very lively, fun-loving, and very talented young lady named Brandy. In this lighthearted video, a young Brandy looks to swoon a boy in whom she's interested.
