This is a wonderful look at sweet Brandy, as shared by a personal friend of hers.  It is a tasteful collection of facts and personal insight, and includes a heartwarming look at Brandy's family and their togetherness.  Each chapter explores a different aspect of the life and career of this lovely diva of soul.

One caveat, of course, is that this book is by no means new.  Quite a lot has happened in Brandy's life since it was published (see my biography of Brandy).

The book is filled with colour photographs of beautiful Brandy, including many candid pics which capture her lovely smile.  The pictures vary somewhat in quality, but many of them are absolutely wonderful, and perfectly depict the radiance and beauty of Brandy.

The collection of quotes from Brandy was a nice touch.  I was fighting back tears when I read one in which she stated that, in a perfect world, she would have higher cheekbones, and totally change herself to look like Naomi Campbell.  That world wouldn't be perfect to me.  Brandy is so incredibly beautiful; she certainly doesn't need to change a thing!

The book also features an at the time comprehensive list of Brandy's musical, television, and movie appearances.  There's also an informative Fun Facts section.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which (incredibly) had a few facts even I didn't know.  It very nicely imparts the reader with a sense of Brandy's sweet and magnetically beautiful personality, and wonderfully pretty looks!
